I’m glad you have found your way back to my blog.
Last night my wife and I went and met with out realtor to deliver the “Good Will” check. This of course referring to the escrow check. It will be held until the closing days, and will be put at that time to our closing costs. While we were meeting with her we asked about who we should get to do our home inspection and Radon test. She gave us a few names to call up. I asked what we needed to do next, and applying for the loan was it.
We rushed into town to see if the banks would still be open, they weren’t. That is one thing I hate about banks, they close right when everyone gets out of work. That is the dumbest thing I have seen and I have never been able to wrap my brain around it. Anyway, no more random rants. We got home and I called the mortgage line for my bank since they were open until 5pm. She said that we could do the application right there over the phone. That was that, I told her great and off we went. We completed the application process and now I am waiting to receive two emails from her. One will tell us what we need to send in, like W-2, pay stubs, and other things of that nature. The other is just some simple question answer type questions. We were told that we could scan and email the documents to make it easy on us. This would make it so that we don’t have to keep calling off work to go to the damn bank. Big fan!
While I was finishing the phone call with the nice mortgage banker, my wife was setting up a day and time for the home inspector. We settled on next Tuesday the 25th. It will be about $500 for both inspections but I guess that is about the going rate here so that is fine by us. After that we will get confirmation of the appraisal, and then have to meet with lawyers and talk insurance. So, so far I think we are off to a goo start. We will have enough for closing costs and inspections, as well as have an affordable payment each month. As we progress I’ll be sure to keep you all updated.
As far as PC’s, I let you know yesterday that I got two in. I did in fact replace my own. So I am writing this on a brand spanking new PC. It is a little better specs wise from my old one but I needed something better for what I use it for. I made the seamless swap this morning. My PC will be going to a guy in the shop that doesn’t use the computers heavily at all so he will never know haha. At the end of the day it is kind of up to my own discretion anyway so its all good. I did also get the other two set up so I hope within this week I’ll be able to install them for the guys. They will both be new to Windows 10 so I’ll stay around to show them the ropes, if need be.
Thank you for stopping by, and I’ll see you all tomorrow! 😀 😀
