We are starting to see the ass end of hurricane Harvey. It is just bringing some rain and that is about it. We have had one storm but it wasn’t very serious. I hope that it clears up a bit for tomorrow though. Tonight the wife and I are going to look for a 1st birthday gift for our niece. It is hard to believe that she is about to be a year old!
Here is a little baby pic of her:
To a week from being 1:
What a change! She is a beautiful little girl. They are having a party for her Sunday. The rest of the night we will just spend indoors cuddled up with something to keep us occupied.
Saturday, weather permitting, we are going to a craft festival. It is held each year at our local fairgrounds. My wife’s family will come into town and meet us there. They have live music, great food, and local vendors a plenty! Our goal is to make a day of it, but again it will be reliant on weather cooperation.
Sunday, like stated earlier, we are going to my niece’s birthday party. That won’t take more than two hours I’m assuming. Then on to a great part of my year, football season. I am a fan of all things Dallas, so naturally my team is the Cowboys. Sunday night they play the Giants, which is a divisional game. This one is a big deal for us, since they were the only team during the regular season who beat us! That is something they plan on correcting from last year. On another great note, the Patriots, who most everyone hates, lost their very first game to the Chiefs last night. It was a beautiful thing. A few analysts predicted that they were better than last year, and would go 16-0, well so much for that! 😀 That made my night.
I’ll be back again on Monday and hope to have a few good pictures to show you all! I’ll see you then. 😀 😀
